Giving is Good
Living in a world that disguises taking and putting yourself before others as being true to oneself, I would like to share my thoughts on giving instead. When I was about ten years old, I had to present a Bible study lesson in front of my congregation. It was about giving and this scripture has lingered in my heart ever since:
Acts 20:35: In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Passion Meets Purpose
It is my belief that I was destined to help others through shared experiences, teaching, and healing the broken pieces of a not-so-perfect life. I always knew I wanted to own my business but never did I fathom what I have created as a result of my life experiences. My business evolved over a lifetime and then all at once it became real and tangible. My passion to help others spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically came together with a force beyond my control. All my training, education, and research fused together like grains of sand exposed to the fire within my soul. The end result is a beautiful piece of art that I refer to as The Willow Connection.
Performing Reiki with the added benefit of essential oil therapy offers me a window into the world of energy – your energy and your healing. I love to blend these two arts because they are perfect healing tools by themselves yet combining them is an experience that offers maximum results. I am often guided by my own intuition as to what needs attention during a treatment without ever having discussed it with my client. This is the power of Reiki. Using essential oils to enhance this treatment is so beneficial because it addresses your ailments and issues on a whole other level. You must experience it to understand how truly wonderful the combination is for your well-being.
Making a Difference
I have been blessed with some God-given skills and learned many others. Together, I plan to use these skills to help others, to give back, and share what I have learned. I will continue to learn and evolve for the rest of my life because what I do know is like a handful of sand that has slipped through my fingers. There is so much more…
In the years ahead, I look forward to working with my current clients, making new ones, and walking alongside them on their journey through life. If I can be that one person who made a difference somehow, someway by sharing myself with you, I have certainly received more than I have given.
